Many big companies have built their crowdsourcing platform, such as Google, Adobe. Crowdsourcing translation saves money, while the quality cannot be assured. This article is going to explore how to improve the quality of translation crowdsourcing.
Best Practices to Increase Quantity & Quality in Translation Crowdsourcing
Although translation crowdsourcing is a cost and time saving way, two main factors, quantity and quality, should be considered to conduct an effective and efficient translation. Increasing the quantity in translation crowdsourcing can gather more professional people to join the program. Achieving high quality is a main goal for translation crowdsourcing. Fansubbing groups in China is the most common and popular form of translation crowdsourcing. The success of fansubbing groups can shed some lights on other practices.

Overview
Based on the general research on practices of Chinese fansubbing groups, Peng Xu, Chaoyue Jiang and I formed a team to further work on the possibility and feasibility of applying translation community on Bilibili, a Chinese video platform.
